Welcome! I primarily use Precious Metal Clay, consists of microscopic particles of a precious metal in an organic binder. (silver or gold and now comes in base metals, copper and bronze) When fired at a high heat with a torch or in a kiln, the organic binder burns away and the metal particles fuse together leaving a solid metal piece, in the case of silver it is pure silver (.999). So you are then wearing recycled pure silver! Good for you, good for the environment!
Growing up in a beachside community, most of my jewelry reflects that. I hope you enjoy wearing your jewelry as much as I love making it.
